SUMMER INTENSIVE 2010

Caitlin Gray
Choreographer

Born in NYC, Caitlin was raised on both coasts (New York and California), and comes from a diverse background that includes national level sports, dance, gymnastics, and circus arts. Her wide range of skills and experiences has made her a much sought-after teacher and choreographer. She trained on full scholarship at Steps on Broadway in New York City, and has a Psychology/Dance degree from the State University of New York, College at Geneseo.

Caitlin recently choreographed award-winning recording artist Ari Gold's live performance at the 2010 Central Park Summerstage, as well as six instructional dance routines for Kidz Bop 16, a commercial for Smirnoff Vodka, live events for the famous 'Box' Cabaret in NYC, flash mob choreography for Dos Equis, and music videos for recording artists, Tori Green and Nika Bright'n.

Other choreography credits include 'The Most Interesting Show in the World', a national promotional tour sponsored by Dos Equis, the Autozone Liberty Bowl Halftime Show, featuring Taylor Hicks, the 2008 Miss USA Pageant (contributing choreographer), featuring Finger Eleven, many industrials including Amstel Light, Hornitos Tequila, Danskin, and SP '08 for Mayor Bloomberg, and live events created for the Citigroup Theatre, Madison Square Garden, and Radio City Music Hall. She has choreographed halftime shows for the NY Knicks, NY Liberty, and US Open, and her work has been featured on NBC, Fox News, ABC, and ESPN.

Caitlin has a well-known reputation as an engaging and passionate instructor, and currently teaches jazz, lyrical, street jazz, and hiphop at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center (guest) in New York City. She has taught master classes all over the U.S. and Canada, and will be guest teaching at Broadway Dance Center in Tokyo later this year.
